About Us:
South Shore Conservatory has an immediate opening for an Enrollment Associate, reporting directly to the Enrollment Manager. This role provides administrative support and exceptional customer service, helping to foster a welcoming environment for families, faculty, staff, partners and visitors. and working with faculty and staff across the organization.
This position is 100% in-person and is primarily located at South Shore Conservatory’s Hingham campus, with additional travel to our Duxbury campus as needed, as well as occasional off-site travel required for concerts, meetings, and events.
SSC’s hours are primarily Monday through Friday 8:30am-9:00pm; Saturday 9:00am-3:00pm (Hingham) and Saturday 9:00 am–12:30 pm (Duxbury). Flexibility to work at either campus is strongly preferred, with hours and location subject to change, based on staffing needs.

Responsibilities - Essential Functions and Skills:
- Act as an initial point of contact for general customer inquiries, providing a helpful, supportive experience
- Greet families, students, faculty and other visitors, providing a high standard of customer service and conducting business in a respectful, professional manner.
- Respond to email messages, answer phone calls, take messages and follow up in a timely manner.
- Provide day-to-day front desk coverage, adhering to all essential policies and procedures, including safety and security.
- Ensure visitor logs and check in/out sheets are current and set out daily.
- Provide back up for the new student process.
- Provide office management support and perform clerical duties including, but not limited to printing, copying, shredding, and posting materials.
- Receive deliveries and sort/distribute mail.
- Enter and maintain registration information.
- Provide backup support for the new student process.
- Assist with timely invoicing and billing follow up.
- Provide support to faculty with attendance tracking.
- Maintain current understanding of programs and partnerships, personnel, policies and procedures.
- Have an understanding of the SSC calendar, including regularly scheduled activities, meetings, events and closures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education, Experience and Qualifications:
- A minimum of a High School Diploma or GED required. Candidates with relevant experience will be given priority consideration.
- Must be highly organized and resourceful, able to manage multiple priorities, with excellent attention to detail and accurate work product.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated commitment to customer service. High level of integrity and emotional intelligence, with the ability to appropriately handle confidential and sensitive information.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong phone and computer skills required, with fundamental proficiency in Excel, Word, and other Microsoft and Google Workplace applications.
Important Information
- Salary Range: $20-$22 per hour
- This job operates in professional environments. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers and filing cabinets.
- This position is mostly sedentary outside of travel. This would require the ability to sit at a desk, frequent walking, bending, or standing as necessary.
- This position is approximately 20 hours per week, with potential for growth.
- Designated days and schedule will primarily be afternoons and evenings during the week, and Saturday morning through early afternoon, though will also be based on the needs of the operation and business, which may require some additional time on weekends, nights and early mornings.
